The Y-12 National Security Complex is a Department of Energy facility located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Paul produced an extensive historic preservation project for them in 2005 while working there under contract. Periodically the Department of Energy does aerial surveys of their sites in the Oak Ridge, Tennessee area. There are several reasons for this including getting a bird’s eye view of how the topography of the sites are changing over time, seeing progress on construction and demolition projects, and historic preservation.
